Doyle’s Room review

Back when it first got rolling in 2004, Doyle’s Room quickly gathered a nice following among the US player base, mainly due to the presence of Doyle Brunson himself. The 2006 UIGEA hit the site badly from a traffic angle, and almost forced it to fold. Doyle’s Room has moved from one network to another in search of its lost identity. It finally found it on the Cake network which accepts US player and which allowed it to reclaim some of its former players. The in-house team of professionals featured by Doyle’s room is one of the best in the industry. Besides Tex Dolly, Mike Caro, the Mad Genius, Todd Brunson and Hoyt Corkins play there too.

Doyle’s room offers its new players a 110% match on their deposits, up to a maximum of $660. Players can earn their bonuses out by playing in real money cash games and tournaments. VIP points are needed to unlock the bonus, exactly 90 VIP points for every bonus dollar. The entire bonus amount needs to be unlocked before it is transferred to players’ real money accounts.

The Doyle’s Room software is more than decent these days. The Cake network has decent network-wide traffic too, but because it is so poplar with the US public, Doyle’s Room may soon end up provider of traffic rather than a consumer.
The graphics featured by the software are easy on the eyes. Player avatars are nice and the speed at which games roll on is decent too.
There have never really been any stability and reliability issues with the Cake software.
